The diggers are hard at it in Cannock where work has begun on Horizon’s second crematorium.
The main contractors are AM Griffiths (AMG), a Wolverhampton based builder which undertakes over £30m of construction activity each year.
Work began in mid February and early progress was hampered by wet ground conditions but the project is on track with AMG’s staff battling against the mud.
The project is expected to take 12 months to complete with the crematorium due to open in Spring 2021
