Crematorium Technician
Clyde Coast and Garnock Valley

£22,000 plus benefits

The Role

Horizon is seeking two enthusiastic and, preferably, experienced Crematorium Technicians to join a new team at the soon to open Clyde Coast and Garnock Valley Crematorium.   We are looking for candidates who are empathetic and caring with a strong sense of appropriate behaviour.  They must pay close attention to detail.

The role involves operating cremation equipment, acting as a Chapel Attendant at services and keeping our memorial gardens beautifully tended.

Horizon Cremation Limited is building a new generation of crematoria delivering the highest levels of customer care in beautiful facilities.   The Clyde Coast and Garnock Crematorium is the first of many crematoria that we will build in the coming years.

About You

Our ideal candidate will:

  • Be confident and calm. Show empathy and compassion in emotional situations.
  • Be able to deal with the deceased in an appropriate and respectful way.
  • Communicate effectively with people at all levels. Have good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Show great attention to detail and be pernickety about process.
  • Have experience of operating machinery and have some IT skills.
  • Have experience of gardening and grounds maintenance.

Part Time Office Assistant
Clyde Coast and Garnock Valley Crematorium

£20,000 plus benefits pro rata

The Role

Horizon is seeking an enthusiastic part-time Office Assistant to join a new team at the soon to open Clyde Coast and Garnock Valley Crematorium.   We are looking for someone to work three days per week.   They must have organisational ability, pay close attention to detail, be kind and caring and be used to delivering a high level of customer service.
